I'm Not Dead Yet

It is amazing how many "offers" I have gotten lately. If I had know that just owning a blog with "Poker" in the title would have generated so much interest, I would have started 10 and never posted. NOT!

Seriously, thanks for the offers, but right now, I do not envision this blog as a cash cow. Of course those thoughts could change for the right amount of cash.

So, what the hell have I been doing during High, Holy Poker Season(WPBT Vegas II and WSOP)? Mostly working and taking care of my family. I have played a little - very little - poker. I find that my extreme interest in the game is still there, I just don't have the hours in the day to play more.

I only started reading blogs again this past week. And I still haven't caught up with some of my favorites yet. There seems to be a different attitude in many of them. I will try to put my finger on the difference in a future post.

I will be trying to update everyone on the status of the "Table Gaming Law" in West Virginia. It almost passed in the regular session this spring. It is due to be brought up again in the "Special Session" sometime in September. Any bloggers or readers from the Mountain State and beyond are encouraged to contact the Legislators and let them know how you feel. If you need specific email or snail mail addresses let me know and I will be happy to provide them. This law would allow table games (poker is specifically mentioned as one of them) to be played at any of the State's 4 race tracks. This would mean poker being played 20 to 25 minutes from my house.

I will be cleaning out my PC at home in the next couple of weeks. After that I will be reformatting and reloading software. If you have any suggestions as to what software or utilities I should load to make my poker playing more enjoyable, please let me know.

Until my next post,

Enjoy Pokery Goodness!

I play at Full Tilt...great site, great software, great promotions (100% bonus up to $600 on your first deposit for starters).

Variety of games, infinite amount of tournaments, and you can play/watch many pros play (Ivey, Lederer, Harman, Gordon, Juanda, Matusow, Lindgren, Ferguson, etc).

As for WV Table gaming...would be awesome for that law to pass. Would appreciate some emails so I can send my support. Currently living in Elkins and not a game in site LOL.
