Yet More on My FTP Download Saga

This morning I received another email from the fine folks in the FTP Technology dept. I had been unable to download the updates to their software 2 weeks ago, and since then I have not been able to download their software either.

They needed more information, which I gave them. And I ran a trace route which they also requested.

Being a techie myself, I have an idea where this is going, but I am going to rely on the experts. After all it is their software.

Yet again, I hope you are able to Enjoy the Pokery Goodness while I can not. (Please feed the fish for me)

Happy Birthday to Me and Still No FTP

Yep, I'm another year older. Yep I still can't download FTP software. I haven't heard from them in 4 days either. I guess I will send them another email. You would think they would be eager to get the software into the hands of someone who wanted to play.

What I really want for my birthday is a new job. If anyone has one either in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, or a telecommute job, I would be more than willing to work hard.

Until I get some poker software from FTP, Enjoy the Pokery Goodness for me!

Still Waiting For a Vote

According to The Journal, there is still no vote scheduled to bring Table Gaming to Charles Town Races and Slots. Penn National, the owners of CTRS, can ask Jefferson County to hold a vote with 90 days notice.

Penn National might decide to have the vote during an already scheduled special election on November 7th. But at the present time they are studying whether the ballot issue - having to do with zoning would adversely affect a vote on Table Games.

Check here for updates.

I can't wait to Enjoy the Pokery Goodness in Jefferson County.

FTP Not Downloading: Day Eight

I am still unable to download and play at Full Tilt Poker. So far I have sent two emails to their support. The first was answered in two days and gave me suggestions which I had already tried. I really would like to play poker with them. Maybe they will reply to my second email soon. If not, I will be escalating the problem.

Still No FTP!?!

I still have not been able to download the latest software for Full Tilt Poker. I got a reply from their techies. I tried their solution (making sure no other occurances of FTP software were running and download again). It has not worked. I just sent another email to the FTP techies. Hopefully they will come up with a solution that works this time. I was disappointed not to be able to play in their World Record attempt Tourney yesterday. But it was not through lack of effort.

Can't Log in To FTP

Maybe it is just me. For the past 4 days I have been unable to log in. It tells me there is updated software. When it tries to download I get the message "Problem decompressing archive, please try again later.

Maybe I should remove FTP software from my laptop and try to load it again. If that does not work, I will contact FTP.

Enjoy the Pokery Goodness! (even though I can't)
