Another Year Gone

Well, another year in poker has passed. By no means my best. I did not get to play as much online as I did in past years. I have yet to play live.

On the good side, I finally figured out why my PC was not downloading the Full Tilt Poker software. Of course, the fine folks in the tech department still have not contacted me after my last email. If they would like someone who can troubleshoot the problem, they should hire me. I have worked tech help desks in the past, I have good customer service skills, and I follow up to make sure the customer was satisfied.

Charles Town Races and Slots will be adding POKER, and other table games to their over 5000 slot machines sometime in June.

The bad part is that I don't have a job, hence no bankroll to take advantage of that. And they decided not to give me a chance to become a dealer.

Here is to 2010! Can't be much worse than 2009.

This morning I am attending a Job Fair at Charles Town Races and Slots. As I am unemployed, the lure of 500 jobs is irresistible. Who knows by June I might be a dealer. Got to get my resume and materials together and go.

Thanks Full Tilt, I fixed the problem myself...

Thank you Full Tilt Poker! With all your help in fixing my problem. I have been unable since late July to download, load, and run Full Tilt Poker Software on my PC. This meant that I was unable to enjoy playing poker at my favorite online site. But more importantly it meant that I was unable to withdraw any of the funds in my FTP account. This has been a problem since I am unemployed and would like to keep my house.

I fixed the problem on my own today. And the Tech Staff at Full Tilt Poker had all the information they needed to find the solution. (I am kicking myself at how easy the solution was.)

If the folks at Full Tilt Poker would like to know what the problem actually turned out to be and how it was fixed, they can contact me and preferably hire me to troubleshoot problems their customers may have. I have a few ideas on how to change their customer/technical services if they would care to listen.

Just a few more hoops, and I can withdraw some money so I can keep the house for a while longer.

Looking forward to playing live poker next year at Charles Town Races and Slots.

Enjoy the Pokery Goodness!

Charle Town Races and Slots AND POKER!

The voters of Jefferson County, West Virginia passed the Table Gaming Referendum overwhelmingly this past Saturday. This is an extreme change from the referendum two years ago when county residents resoundingly defeated the measure.

Penn National, the parent company was pleased with the vote to say the least. They are expecting to add a variety of table games to the 5000+ slot machines already there starting sometime in June.

That was the good news. The bad news is that I am unemployed and can not Enjoy the Pokery Goodness.

Hopefully I will be employed by then and I can.
